Rosebud Preschool Program
A Gentle and Enriching Preschool Experience
Sacramento Waldorf School’s Rosebud Preschool is a home-like, secure, and loving place with a predictable rhythm throughout the day, season, and school year. The program gently nurtures the development of imagination, verbal capacities, sequencing, sensory integration, memory, social skills, and motor skills that are essential as the foundation for later learning and academic excellence. This is all achieved in a supportive atmosphere free from formal academics.
Program Details
Our Rosebud Preschool Program serves children aged three and four in our beautiful preschool classroom. The program runs Monday through Friday from 8am-12pm following our school calendar. Extended Care is available until 5:30pm for an additional charge.
The morning includes circle time, nature walks, and creative play. A healthy, substantial snack—local and organic, when possible—is provided.
For the 2023–24 school year, children must have turned three by May 31, 2023 to enroll. All preschool children must be toilet trained by the start of the program.

This program is currently full for the 2023–24 school year. New applications will be added to our waitlist.

The application process for Rosebud Preschool consists of the following steps:
Attend an Online Information Meeting
Submit a Preschool Questionnaire
Pay a $75 non-refundable application fee
Attend a meeting with our Early Childhood Faculty
