Welcome from the Director of Admissions

Dear Families,

I am thrilled about your interest in Sacramento Waldorf School for your student. We look forward to exploring the possibilities with you for your student’s Waldorf education; together, we will dream about who they are becoming and how Sacramento Waldorf School can foster a strong sense of self and purpose in them.  We ask that you complete our inquiry form, which will create your Admission Portal and allow you to begin the process by scheduling an online information meeting.

We ask for parents only to join for the online information meeting. We find that this allows parents to concentrate fully on the information provided. Children and relatives are always welcome to attend when you schedule an in-person tour.

Sacramento Waldorf School focuses on experiential, multisensory, and multidisciplinary learning. We take an active approach to education, integrating all the senses and subjects like arts and music into the curriculum by utilizing various techniques that allow for transformative learning that fosters creativity, sparks curiosity, and is meaningful. The Waldorf classroom experience is designed to build strong relationships, enhance social and emotional competencies, and create community bonds through seasonal events, festivals, assemblies, plays, sporting events, community service, and more.

For the 2024-25 school year, we will continue our work building and strengthening the community, both in the classrooms and on campus

On behalf of Sacramento Waldorf School,

Hunt Griggs
