Annual Giving is Here!

Dear Sacramento Waldorf School Families, October has come and gone in a flurry of events we have enjoyed together. From the beauty of our whole community’s teamwork at the Harvest Faire... to facing our dragons at Michaelmas... from getting together to hear updates on the health of our school at the Annual Board Meeting... to sipping coffee outside with new friends... we have all found different opportunities to meet and share smiles and conversations.As we step into November, the season of giving, we begin our Annual Giving Campaign. Annual giving is one of the most significant opportunities for everyone to show community and support for Sacramento Waldorf School. Through your gift to annual giving, we are able to support our faculty in providing the full, rich curriculum our children receive, maintain our beautiful grounds and classrooms, and provide this life-changing education to our economically diverse community.Since arriving at Sacramento Waldorf School, I have come to understand that Waldorf education is special and the heartfelt participation of this community is a big part of that. I’ve spent time on the farm listening to students discuss the benefits of wholesome foods, surrounded by lush fruits and vegetables that they helped grow. I’ve spoken to bright, curious students about my time doing missionary work in Africa and Haiti and most rewardingly, had many approach me later because of their interest. I've heard our high school seniors share experiences of their senior internships, having volunteers take a week out of their schedules to show students the real life of working beside surgeons, marketing directors, veterinarians, and much more. Any given day on our campus brings so many opportunities to see the many ways that the community standing behind it makes it special. Please continue to show your support for our community by leading the launch of our Annual Giving Campaign.
