Sacramento Waldorf School is seeking a thoughtful, experienced, and collaborative High School Administrator to help lead and support our high school program. This leadership role is central to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and mission-aligned environment for students, faculty, and families, while supporting the continued growth and vitality of our high school community.
The High School Administrator is responsible for the successful planning, organization, and supervision of the high school to ensure a quality Waldorf education for all high school students in alignment with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Sacramento Waldorf School. This position provides leadership for faculty and staff, supports student development, partners with families, oversees key high school operations, and collaborates across the school community to uphold the principles of Waldorf education.
Education and Related Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
At least 5 years of experience as a Waldorf teacher.
At least 5 years of experience managing administrative and operational aspects in an educational or nonprofit setting.
Intimate knowledge of Waldorf education and the principles of Anthroposophy.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
Background clearances as required by state and federal regulations.
Mandated Reporter certification (renewed annually).

Sacramento Waldorf School is seeking an inspiring and dynamic Spring Musical Director to lead our High School students through one of the most exciting artistic experiences of the year. This role offers the opportunity to guide students in developing creativity, discipline, collaboration, and confidence through musical theatre. We are looking for someone who values both artistic excellence and the transformative power of performing arts education.
The Spring Musical Director is a part-time (20.63% FTE) position responsible for planning, directing, and executing the High School’s annual spring musical production. This role oversees auditions, casting, rehearsals, and performances while providing artistic leadership for the overall production. The position works collaboratively with the music director, choreographer, technical staff, and school community to deliver a successful and high-quality musical production.

This role oversees all aspects of production including script selection, auditions, casting, rehearsals, and performances. The position collaborates with faculty, students, families, and volunteers to ensure a successful and high-quality production while fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Select, produce, and direct the High School Fall Production (drama or comedy).
Organize and lead auditions, casting, and rehearsals from start of season through performances.
Develop rehearsal schedules and communicate expectations with students and families.
Oversee all production logistics including scripts, royalties, staging, costumes, props, and technical needs.
Collaborate with faculty, parent volunteers, and production support teams.
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for student performers.
Support students in developing performance skills, confidence, collaboration, and responsibility.

Sacramento Waldorf School is a vibrant, community-focused school that fosters a nurturing and creative environment for both students and staff. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our team as substitutes in our Extended Day Program. This role offers a unique opportunity to support our students in an enriching after-school setting, helping to create an enjoyable and engaging experience during the after-school hours.
As an Extended Day Substitute, you will provide valuable support in our after-school program by ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging atmosphere for children. Your role will include supervising students in various activities, facilitating play-based learning, and stepping in when regular staff members are unavailable. Ideal candidates will be flexible, enjoy working with children, and have a caring, dependable nature. Shifts typically range from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM on weekdays, with opportunities to work based on your availability. Previous experience with children is helpful, but not required.
Education and Related Work Experience:
Experience working with children in a school, camp, or childcare setting is preferred, but not required.
A strong interest in working with children and fostering a positive, supportive environment.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
