Sacramento Waldorf School is a 501(c)3 non-profit pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade independent school supported by a threefold governance model consisting of a Board of Trustees, College of Teachers, and Administration. These three governing entities work collaboratively to support our unique and comprehensive Waldorf education.
- The Board of Trustees oversees the school’s overall fiscal, legal, and structural health
- The College of Teachers oversees instructional theory and practice
- The Administration oversees daily operations
Founded in 1959, our school is fully accredited by WASC and AWSNA. The school’s Steering Committee supports timely decision-making and communications across the three governing entities. The Steering Committee serves as a central leadership team that includes representatives from the Administration, College of Teachers, and Board of Trustees.
